About
Benjamin Pearson is interested in global cultural policy and the relationship between global and local spaces. His current research focuses on EU aid to audiovisual industries in the developing world. Before enrolling at the University of Michigan, he completed an MA in Comparative Literature at Dartmouth College and a dual MA in Euroculture (European integration from a cultural and sociological perspective) at both Deusto University in San Sebastain, Spain, and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Benjamin is also the film section editor for the webzine Tiny Mix Tapes, and enjoys watching and thinking about bad movies.
