About
Sarah's research focuses on the way social identities impact the effect of media messages on voters during political elections. She also does work on political polarization and emotion in news. She received her B.A. from Denison University in Communication and Spanish where she studied how political rhetoric affects cultural and social movements. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Sarah worked in marketing and branding.
