About
Dan Hiaeshutter-Rice is a doctoral candidate (ABD) in the Department of Communication and Media at the University of Michigan. His research interests center around political information markets. He is primarily interested how different communication platforms change political messaging. His work includes big social data, message characteristic effects, new versus traditional media, and opinion leadership.
Before starting his PhD, he received a B.A. in Public Policy from Michigan State University and a M.P.P from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.
