On July 27th, the winners of the 2021 LSA Staff Achievement Awards were announced. LSA Dean Anne Curzan writes:

Dear Colleagues:

I am delighted to share with you the winners of this year’s LSA Staff Achievement Awards. Celebrating our colleagues’ accomplishments is a wonderful annual tradition for our community, especially after the past fifteen months of creative and successful adaptation to challenging working circumstances. While we are taking this opportunity to celebrate the exceptional contributions of some of our college’s individual staff members and teams, we want to extend many thanks to our entire staff for your invaluable work over the past year. It is a privilege to work alongside you in support of the college’s mission.

On behalf of the review committee, thank you to everyone who made time to submit a nomination as well as those who submitted letters of support. We know this takes time and energy, and your letters are inspiring in what they capture about all the remarkable people in our community. The committee was impressed with the talent, dedication, and efforts of all the staff who were nominated and had to make difficult decisions again this year. The winners are listed below.

Please join us in congratulating your colleagues! I look forward to recognizing this year’s award winners at an upcoming All Staff Forum meeting.

Best,

Anne

Among a very outstanding pool of nominations and fellow awardees, our own Michelle Biggs has won a Kay Beattie Outstanding Individual Employee Award Winners for the Humanities Division. Congratulations, Michelle! Very well earned.
