2. You begin your journey in the city of Carthage. Your first stop of the day is at the forum. The forum is an open square, or market-place that is found in a typical Roman town with a combination of political, judicial, and commercial functions.
4. Set up shop in the stalls (stoa). You find an unoccupied stall and begin setting out your wares for display. You hope that selling in a city as populous and as prosperous as Carthage will in turn lead to large sales.
5. Talk with a fellow merchant (socius mercator) Heus! Nummus, socius mercator tibi, est in Carthagine! The last time you saw him was in the baths at Narbo. You should go see what he is up to in Carthage.
