Our mission is to create a collaborative and sustainable community between chemistry undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, faculty/staff and alumni with a focus on Black, Inidgenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) members. We work to unify the Chemistry Department by providing commUNITY members along with the greater Chemistry community with knowledge and support in order to build a foundation of trust and close racial gaps. We aspire to increase the number of culturally responsible underrepresented minority (URM) chemists who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
