The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), part of the University of London, is in the West End district of central London, the city’s primary commercial and entertainment district.
Academic Year: LSE’s full-year study abroad program is called the General Course. Earn 24 credits and choose from over 250 courses in social sciences taught across a variety of departments. LSE consistently receives high ratings for the quality of its teaching and research. It is also home to the world’s largest social science library, the British Library of Political and Economic Science. The academic year program is October-June with breaks in December and March-April.
Summer: LSE Summer School offers a broad set of courses across a variety of different disciplines, taught by leading scholars in their fields. Students are able to enroll inthe following subjects ranging from only 3 weeks up to 9 weeks at LSE Summer School: accounting, business and management, culture and the environment, economics, english, finance, international relations, government and society, law, research methods, data science, and mathematics. LSE organizes a general social calendar. Explore the UK and Europe on a range of day trips and short breaks to Amsterdam and the Scottish Highlands.
