Students will choose one Neuroscience course to enroll in, such as “The Neurobiology of Hearing,” offered yearly, and one Spanish course according to their language level. Salamanca is a medieval college town in northwestern Spain boasting a mixture of students, locals, and tourists. Students will have the opportunity to socialize with Spanish students from the University of Salamanca as well as to meet PhD students at the Institute for Neuroscience. Students may also choose to participate in an optional 5-day course excursion to Prague in the Czech Republic, a trip that will feature laboratory visits and demonstrations of medical technology.
