Classical Studies (ICCS) in Rome

This program is designed for students with an interest and background in classical studies and Greek or Latin language. Take an intensive course on the Ancient City and choose 3 other courses from Intermediate or Advanced Latin, Intermediate or Advanced Greek, Renaissance and Baroque Art History, Conservation and Management of the Material Heritage of Ancient Rome; or Elementary Italian. Students are required to take at least one course in Latin or Greek. The ICCS program center is located on the Janiculum and is a quick 10 minutes by bus from the Piazza Venezia and downtown Rome. The center is in a residential area with small shops, caf├ęs, an outdoor food market, and other services. Courses include site visits and activities in and around the city. The program also offers trips outside of Rome; previous groups have traveled to Sicily and Campania.
