Explore one of the most famous and culturally rich cities in the world. This program is a unique opportunity offering in-depth exposure to Parisian life through homestays, French language instruction, and site visits. Spend the entire 6 weeks in Paris learning how to “read” the city through a number of interpretive lenses. Daily walks around the “City of Light” will be an important part of the social and cultural education experience. Three days each week, class meets at churches, chateaux, and museums throughout the city. Take a 4-credit French language course taught by a local instructor and a 3-credit art history course taught in English by U-M History of Art Associate Professor Howard Lay. All LSA students on this program receive language credit.
