Study Italian language and culture in Bologna, a tech hub and a home for progressive politics and stunning architecture. While working on Italian language skills, students take coursework in a variety of disciplines, such as economics, humanities, education and more. The University of Bologna is one of the oldest universities in thea world. Choose a combination of study-center and Uni Bologna courses. Students will have a 25-hour language course that meets 2 ½ hours daily for two weeks, and then continue the study of language twice a week for the rest of the semester for an additional 40 hours.
On-site staff organize dinners, excursions, and events to promote exposure to Italian culture and interaction between students. Visit a rural farmhouse, learn to make pasta by hand, and enjoy a meal with other students. Intellectual curiosity is satisfied with an outing to one of the city’s many libraries, research institutes, or museums. Other program excursions may include trips to Ravenna, Urbino, Lake Garda, Padova and Vicenza, and Tuscany.
