  • City: Paris
  • Term: Fall, Winter, Academic Year
  • Instruction in: French
  • Requirements: Minimum 6 semesters college-level French
  • Students interested in: Comparative Literature, Economics, French Language, History, History of Art, International Studies, Psychology, Political Science

Develop French language ability by earning credits towards majors such as French, history, literature, political science, history of art, international studies, and more. Students take 1-3 classes at the program headquarters, the Centre Madeleine, and the remainder of courses at partner institutions that are spread throughout the city. Students are matched with partner universities based on academic interest. By taking a language pledge and living in a homestay, students live as Parisians for a semester or academic year. Language partner programs and student round table discussions are available to any interested student. Excursions are also coordinated by the program, including visits to museums, neighborhoods of historic interest, and one overnight excursion each semester to destinations such as Bayeux, the D-Day landing beaches, and Mont Saint-Michel.
