The city-state of Singapore has a population of 5.6 million, four official languages (with English serving as the lingua franca), and is a global hub for finance, education, business, and technology. The National University of Singapore (NUS) is a world-class, English-speaking university with state-of-the-art facilities and top-ranked academic programs. Students can earn 12-18 credits per term. NUS has many student societies and organizations to help students integrate into campus life and social activities of Singapore. Students will be housed in dormitories, or halls, and are expected to participate actively in hall activities.
