Hitotsubashi University is considered one of Japan’s most prestigious schools, consistently ranking amongst the top universities in Japanese rankings. Hitotsubashi focuses primarily on the social sciences and the study of civil society. During this program, students can earn 12-18 credits per term by taking intensive Japanese language courses plus content courses taught in English on a variety of subjects. International students participate in the Hitotsubashi University Global Education Program (HGP), which provides a great deal of personalized attention to students. Students have the option to join a variety of student clubs and associations.
