Fudan University is made up of over 50 schools, departments and institutes and has over 35,000 undergraduate, graduate and international students. Students enroll as General Advanced Students and can earn 12-18 credits while abroad. General Advanced Students may elect to take courses taught in English along with Chinese language courses.
English course options include sociology, political science, physics, philosophy, history, literature, environment, economics, chemistry and biology. An intensive Chinese language course track is also available. Throughout the semester or year students will have numerous opportunities to travel off campus, which will enhance their understanding of Chinese culture, history and geography. Students will live in on-campus international student dormitories with shared kitchens. Dorm rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, internet, and private bathrooms.
