Nanjing, on the legendary Qinhuai River, served as China’s capital for several dynasties throughout Chinese history. On this program, students can complete their third- and fourth-semester LSA language requirements in China with AsianLan 203. In Nanjing, students will live with host families, visit elementary schools, and enjoy the annual Dragon Boat Festival making their trip full of cultural immersion opportunities.

Enjoy unique field trips to areas of cultural and natural significance within the region. The program includes a trip to Shanghai—where students can visit ancient temples and stroll the colonial-era structures—and an excursion to Mt. Mogan for a nature hike and to visit tea farms.
