GIEU Peru—Healthy Kitchens

Learn from local experts about grassroots approaches to community hygiene, sanitation, and relationship with the environment on this GIEU program. On the Healthy Kitchens program, learn how to install and explain how to use efficient wood-burning stoves and eco-shelves and refrigerators in rural Peruvian homes. You will be assisting in the improvement of residential kitchens so that local residents can have better health, and overall quality of life. 

The program is led by Tatiana Calixto of the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures.
