Newnan Academic Advising Center
Students first meet their LSA general academic advisors during the orientation period prior to their first term. Exchange students may find their advisor to be a valuable resource on classroom expectations, finding a balanced course schedule, and understanding the U.S. academic system.
This comprehensive writing center offers one-on-one tutoring and teaches writing courses from the 100 to graduate level. Sweetland provides support for multilingual and international undergraduate students, offering credit-bearing courses, special workshops, and peer-to-peer conversation groups.
ELI helps build capability and confidence in spoken and written English, offering a wide range of resources aimed at improving language and communication skills in a scholarly context. ELI also offers English conversation circles for international students.
