UM COVID-19 Medium Risk Destinations
In COVID-19 medium risk areas, travel for university purposes is requires extra precautions due to midlevel health risks due to the pandemic.
The University of Michigan may decide to cancel or suspend programs in U-M COVID-19 Medium Risk Destinations should conditions worsen to that of a COVID-19 High Risk or entry is not possible. U-M Safety and COVID-19 Travel Plans
All travellers to Travel Warning, Travel Restriction, COVID-19 High Risk, and COVID-19 Medium Risk locations must complete either a safety and travel plan to depart the country.
If going to a Travel Warning or Restriction destination, complete the Individual Travel Safety Plan.
If going to a COVID-19 High Risk and COVID-19 Medium Risk location, you will complete the COVID-19 Travel plan in your MCompass program application as part of your post-decision requirements.
If going to a country which is both a Travel Warning or Restriction AND a COVID-19 High/Medium Risk location, complete ONLY the Individual Travel Safety Plan.
