Welcome to Express Advising! On this page, you can access your study abroad advisor during virtuall open advising. If you're not sure who your advisor is, take a look at each of the advisors portfolio to see which countries they advise on. Make sure you take a look at the open advising hours for each advisor. Please keep in mind that they'll only be available during those times for express advising. Students can still schedule an advising appointment via email (cgis@umich.edu) or via the appointment link that was sent to you after you attended a First Step Session. Once you're ready to meet with an advisor, click on "Join on Zoom." Make sure that you're signed in with your U-M account as only accounts that are University of Michigan authenticated will be able to access our advisors. For more information on registering your U-M account, click here. Once you've joined the zoom session, you will be placed in a waiting room until an advisor is ready to begin your advising session.
