Description

This introduction to sociology course is designed for future medical professionals who have an interest in the social issues surrounding health and medicine. The course will introduce students to the core concepts and methods of sociology and will use research from medical sociology to illustrate these concepts.

Intended Audience:

Juniors and seniors who identify as pre-health students and/or plan to take the MCAT.
