Description

This course will focus on American political institutions. Some parts of the course will focus on the legislative, executive, and judicial branches individually; others will focus on the interaction among these institutions. In each case, we will examine both theoretical and empirical studies of these institutions, with an emphasis on empirical tests of theories.

Course Requirements:

Students who have not taken POLSCI 611 should speak to the instructor before signing up for this course.
