Description

This course is designed to give students valuable experience and practice reading original Sanskrit texts from an assortment of classical Indian genres, such as poetry, drama, law, and philosophy.

Course Requirements:

Grading will be based upon in-class performance, a midterm, and a final exam.

Intended Audience:

This course is open to both undergraduate and graduate students with prior experience in Sanskrit equal to two full years of study at the college level.
