In the late 1970s, acrimonious debates over sexual conduct, particularly "pornography," erupted within feminism. While these disputes have largely subsided within feminism, current conflicts over sexual imagery recapitulate arguments pioneered among feminists decades ago. This course examines these feminist "sex wars" and their legacies in current politics, law, and policy.
