Detroit Connector

Riders who need to get to/from Detroit for events or Community-Based Learning experiences now have another option: the Detroit Center Connector.

Blue Bus Map App

U-M's 'Blue Bus' can take bus riders from Crisler Arena to North Campus and everywhere in between. The bus system is free to the general public, and operates from about 5:00 AM to about 2:30 AM weekdays (7:00 AM to about 3:00 AM weekends), with reduced hours during spring/summer terms and on holidays.

The link below is a map with a live view of exactly where all of the buses are in real time. As the buses drive along the routes, their positions are updated on the map. The map also offers a link to download the app for both iOS and Android devices so there is no need to stand out in inclement weather waiting for a  Blue Bus.

Ride for Free on AAATA

Did you know that all active students (including part-time), faculty, and staff at the University of Michigan have unlimited access to The Ride's fixed route bus service? This doesn't not include specialty routes like NightRide, FootballRide or AirRide. AirRide costs $12 and takes you from Blake Transit Center to DTW airport on a luxury bus with Wi-Fi and free bottled water.
