The BLI Peace Leadership Retreat in Detroit
Work to Learn: Food and Land Justice
"Peace leadership is the mobilization of action for just change. When people are motivated to act individually and function collectively for the benefit of humanity and the planet, peace leadership is present."
An Integral Perspective of Peace Leadership, Whitney McIntyre Miller and Zachary Gabriel Green
During this retreat, we will hear from community leaders who have made Detroit their home, learn how they contribute to their communities, and their connection with peace leadership. The retreat will feature leadership learning visits to iconic Detroit institutions like the Detroit Institute of Arts, D-Town farms, and Eastern Market, plus engaging speakers and activities to reflect on the experiences!
