The Program in Biology and Undergraduate Program in Neuroscience Student Services Office is looking for friendly and knowledgeable program majors (including Biology, Gen. Bio., CMB, EEB, Microbiology, Neuroscience, or Plant Biology) or graduate students (former UM bio. sciences majors) to act as Peer Advisors for the Fall 2013 academic term.
Pay:
$10/hr., 4-6 hours per week (schedule TBD, based on availability, experience, and student demand)
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Peer Advisors (PAs) will work primarily from the Undergrad. Office in 1140 USB, assisting new and continuing students with academic decision-making and planning and organizing programs and events for undergraduates. The PA offers advice regarding course planning, research opportunities, and student involvement from a UM undergraduate’s perspective. To Apply:
