About
I work with Prof. Michael Meyer and Dr. Megan Reiter on the characterization of binary star populations. My research involves the creation and implementation of a double-PSF code that is used to resolve companions at separations less than the diffraction limit using the Advanced Camera for Surveys on the Hubble Space Telescope. Currently, I am studying nearby stellar clusters to identify differences in binary star populations based on stellar parameters of the binary systems and star cluster properties, such as mass and density. Click here to read about our detection method and our analysis of the low-mass binary population of the Orion Nebula Cluster.
