This week, the University honored twenty-six faculty members for being outstanding members of the university community. Among those honored was Jon Miller, who has been with the department since 2005. He received a Faculty Recognition Award.
The award guidelines state: "[t]hese awards are for mid-career faculty who have demonstrated remarkable contributions to the University through outstanding achievements in scholarly research and/or creative endeavors; excellence as a teacher, advisor and mentor; and distinguished participation in the service activities of the university and elsewhere."
