Welcome Night at the Detroit Observatory

New and returning students are invited to tour the Detroit Observatory, talk to volunteers from the Bentley Historical Library and Michigan Astronomy about UM history and astronomy, and check out the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History mini-dome planetarium. Weather permitting, the 1857 Fitz telescope will be open for a look at the skies. Free tickets to the telescope are available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
