COSMO-ASTRO SEMINAR | Large Scale Structure: Symmetry-Violations and Data Combinations

Recent measurements of the galaxy four point function indicate parity-violations in the LSS of the Universe. If physical in origin, this could point to novel physics during the epoch of inflation. In this two-part talk, I will first show how to use a novel unsupervised method to search for parity-violations in galaxy surveys maps and discuss why this approach addresses the main shortcomings in the existing four point analysis. In the second part of this talk, I will discuss new results and techniques to practically perform joint analyses in the upcoming epoch of large overlapping photometric, spectroscopic and CMB experiments.
