The Chattha family have graciously donated a sum of money for a regular lecture series in Sikh and Punjab Studies.

Since the mid-1990s the University of Michigan has sponsored and hosted a variety of conferences, workshops, outreach lectures and webinars on the topic of Sikh and Punjab Studies.
