Sargent Gary Hicks and Ms. Candice Dorsey (Empowerment Self Defense Program Manager, DPSS) will give a presentation on how to address the issues of identifying potentially violent situations. They will educate our community on how to respond to an active attacker and an active shooter. The presentation aims to educate students, faculty, and staff on how to respond during an active attacker/shooter situation and on identifying the warning signs often displayed by people who are at risk of hurting themselves or others.
