Doo Jae Park

Dr. Doo Jae Park is a lecturer in Asian/Pacific Islander American Studies whose research interests include race and racialization of Asian moving bodies, identity politics, and cultural citizenship in the context of contemporary sport and physical culture. He teaches Asian/Pacific Islander American popular culture, race, and US empire.

Currently, Dr. Park is working on a book manuscript that concerns sport as public pedagogy that inculcates multicultural identities (i.e., post-raciality along with colorblindness) while facilitating racial formation of Asian diaspora.
