November 13th marked the latest iteration of the annual Asian American High School Conference, organized by United Asian American Organizations and featuring many A/PIA faculty and students as speakers. The day-long conference was held at the University of Michigan and was first established to help Asian American high school students explore their identity, gain insight into college life, and meet fellow peers in the Asian American community. Speakers, organizers, and facilitators included A/PIA students Gina Liu, Mira Simonton-Chao, Lisa Ryou, as well as A/PIA Studies faculty Manan Desai and Roland Hwang.

Congratulations to all the organizers for a successful event and for continuing this important tradition!
