My research delves into how Shipibo-Konibos, an Indigenous people from the Peruvian Amazon, engage with information and communication technology (ICT) in both rural and urban livelihoods. I explore the socio-political, economic, ontological, and epistemological factors that shape Shipibos' digital practices. This includes investigating how internet infrastructure manifests in Shipibo rural villages and how community members actively respond to and interact with this material technology.
