Are you trying to decide if graduate school in the field of Anthropology is right for you?

Join us for a virtual workshop on how to apply to graduate programs in Anthropology! Topics will include finding an advisor, coursework and fieldwork, and how to pick a dissertation topic. We will also talk about financing your education and funding for research, and navigating grad school life (including mental health, identity, finances, teaching, and parenting).

There will be opportunities for questions and conversations with current faculty and current graduate students at different stages in the program. Undergraduates, recently graduated, Master’s and returning students are welcome!

Registration is required and limited to 100 participants.  Please register by November 9, 2020.

12:00-1:00 p.m. - Virtual Lunch with graduate students and faculty members

1:00-2:00 p.m. - Panel: Navigating grad school life (mental health, identity, finances, parenting) 

2:00-2:45 p.m. - Financing graduate school

2:45-3:00 p.m. - Break

3:00-4:00 p.m. - Student “speed dating” with faculty and grad students

 4:00-4:30 p.m. - Q&A and final thoughts
