Congratulations 2011 Rackham International Research Award Grantees!
Four Anthropology graduate students were among the 2011 Rackham International Research Award Grantees: Bethany Hansen for her project in Uganda, “Behavior of immigrant female chimpanzees”; Katherine Fultz for her project in Guatemala, “Economies of Representation: Mining and Communication in Guatemala"; Geoffrey Hughes for his project in,Jordan, “Managing Marriage: Kinship and Bureaucracy in Contemporary Jordan”; and Alison Joersz for her project in Haiti, "’What's wrong with Haiti?’:Debating development among middle-class Haitians.”
