Giving Blueday 2022

  1. Our Alumni!
  2. Our Faculty!

The Anthropology Department is a dynamic community comprised of faculty and students engaged in a mutual quest to understand the human condition in all its variety, past and present. Key to this quest is the support and guidance that our graduate students receive from their faculty advisors, which allow students to develop an independent professional identity within a broad, collaborative framework.

Our alumni across the world champion this mentorship of the next generation of scholars through generous donations of financial support and time. Through this support, undergraduate as well as graduate students receive opportunities to conduct fieldwork domestically and abroad, and are able to conduct research in classrooms, laboratories, museums, archives and in communities. The Anthropology Department is strengthened by our expanding network of students, faculty, alumni, and staff. We urge you to connect with us to help continue to nurture our thriving Michigan Anthropology community. Please consider donating to the Department of Anthropology's Strategic fund in support of both undergraduate and graduate students!
