About
Scott Larson comes to American Culture from George Washington University where he taught courses in transgender and women’s history, LGBTQ Studies, and early American cultural history. He is a scholar of transgender history, religion, sexuality, and disability in the early Anglophone Atlantic, and his work has appeared in the Journal of Early American Studies and in Transgender Studies Quarterly. He holds a M.A. from Yale University Divinity School and completed his Ph.D. in American Studies at GWU in 2017.
