Professor Evelyn Alsultany Writes on the Need for a New Paradigm to Think About Racialized Violence
Arab and Muslim American Studies Director and American Culture Professor Evelyn Alsultany wrote an article for NYU Press entitled "Beyond intent: Why we need a new paradigm to think about racialized violence." Professor Alsultany reflected on the recent Chapel Hill, North Carolina murders and the ensuing controversy over whether it could be labeled a hate crime.
