DEADLINE: March 15, 2017


Grant awards ranging from $5,000-$7,500 are available to individual faculty members to pursue projects which include travel to domestic and international research sites. We encourage inventive ideas, especially those that involve thematic support for World Performance Studies.

Successful proposals should demonstrate long-term scholarly impact, enhance the learning outcomes and experiences of U-M students, extend international collaborations, and leverage other sources of support. Funds may be requested for pilot projects or to supplement existing projects.

 

How do I apply?

Proposals should include:
(1) a Center for World Performance Studies Faculty Summer Funding 2017 Form;
(2) an explanatory statement no longer than 1,000 words;
(3) a current CV for each principal organizer/participant no longer than 3 pages; and
(4) a budget detailing anticipated costs and all sources of support (pending and confirmed).

Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15 2017, and recipients will be notified by Monday, April 10. Awards are to be used during the summer of 2017.
