A three-day symposium honoring one of Michigan's most distinguished alumni, the great American playwright Arthur Miller.

7:00pm, Stamps Auditorium: Keynote Address

October 14: Miller into the Future: Professor Enoch Brater, Kenneth T. Rowe Professor Dramatic Literature, will discuss the present status of Miller's work as it continues to circulate in the theater community, and the future directions it is likely to take in light of both published and unpublished archival material

4:30pm, Arthur Miller Theatre: Faculty Panel

October 15: Miller as Touchstone: Panel discussion with Richard Ferguson-Wagstaffe, independent scholar and holder of a BA and MA from U-M's Department of Theatre & Drama, "Performance Training and Arthur Miller at the University of Michigan"; Laurence Goldstein, Professor of English Literature, "Arthur Miller and Jewish Identity"; and Leigh Woods, Professor of Theatre & Drama, "Miller and Education"

6:30pm, Stamps Auditorium: Celebrity Panel

October 16: Miller in Production: Distinguished alumni and other noteworthy theatre artists discuss their experience in working on Miller's plays and on its effects on them and their careers
