Summer Research Opportunities

UROP encourages students to continue their research experience by participating ina summer research fellowship. Summer Research Fellowship Programs are designed for students seeking an intense research experience in traditional laboratory settings and in the community. A summer fellowship provides students with the chance to undertake and complete individual research projects; learn firsthand about the life of an academic researcher; think about academic and post graduate careers; and develop strong mentor relationships.  Summer programs are available throughout the United States and are funded by government and private agencies. Most are hosted by U.S. colleges and universities, pay a stipend and travel costs, and provide housing.  UROP and the University of Michigan Career Center offer information sessions during the Fall term.

UROP Sponsored Summer Fellowships
UROP offers several summer research fellowship programs each summer for University of Michigan undergraduate students.
