Student Research Skill Building Workshops
UROP offers students a variety of skill building workshops each year to help develop their research skills. These workshops are designed to assist research sponsors with student training and orientation to the project. Students are encouraged to attend these workshops to build skills relevant to their research project. Faculty receive advance notice so they can identify workshops appropriate for their students and provide release time for them to attend.
Workshops being offered during Fall 2009 include:
Library Research, RefWorks
Basic Excel, STATA, SPSS, Survey Monkey
Keeping a Lab Notebook, OSEH Lab Safety, OSEH Radiation Safety
Use of Animals in Research
Webpage Design, GIS
