Michael Taylor

The UMMZ Mammal Division recently had a visiting student researcher from Ohio Northern University.  The student, Michael Taylor, is an undergraduate at Ohio Northern, working with Dr. Robert McAfee studying the morphological differences of carnivore skulls.  As part of his research, Michael uses a  3D scanner to produce digital models of skulls from a variety of carnivore species in hopes of determining subtle differences in their morphologies.  In the YouTube video, Michael explains his research, as well as the state-of-the-art technology that he uses.
