Learning Mammals from the Inside Out
Tony began volunteering with the Mammal Division during Winter 2013. Tony has become the "preparator in residency" and hopes to learn more about the inner-workings of mammals before he applies to veterinary school. Tony is a sophomore majoring in biology and comes to us from the Chicagoland area.
"As a kid, I always enjoyed going to museums and learning as many facts as I could about animals. So, when I first came to Michigan, I was immediately attracted to the work that is being done at the Museum of Zoology. I also wanted to gain as much hands-on experience as I could working with the animals that needed to be prepped for the collection."
