The U-M Museum of Natural History will close in its current location on December 30, 2017, reopening next door in the new Biological Science Building in 2019.

The Museum is next to the Central Campus Transportation Center (CCTC), served by campus and Ann Arbor buses. MegaBus connects to Ann Arbor from Chicago, Detroit, and Toledo; Greyhound from Detroit, Jackson, Lansing, and other cities; Michigan Flyer from East Lansing and Detroit Metro Airport, and Amtrak from Chicago, Kalamazoo, Jackson, Detroit, and Pontiac.
