Who can apply for fellowships?

We award two types of year-long Fellowships.

Michigan Faculty Fellowships
Only full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty at the University of Michigan may apply for Michigan Faculty Fellowships. Lecturers and adjunct faculty are not eligible. Tenured or tenure-track faculty from the Ann Arbor, Flint and Dearborn campuses are eligible.

Michigan Graduate Student Fellowships
Applicants must be University of Michigan students and have attained candidacy at the time of application, or provide a letter from their department vouching for the fact that they have successfully completed all of the requirements for candidacy.
