How do you select Visiting Fellows?

There is no formal application process. The Institute asks colleagues at UM to nominate visitors who will contribute to our exploration of the annual theme or to interdisciplinary study.  These calls for nominations are sent around the University at the appropriate time of year.  The Institute Executive Committee reviews these nominations so that visitors represent a variety of disciplines, theoretical approaches, eras, and geographical areas.
